She is getting so big! 14 pounds now!
She just took her first trip out on the boat about a week ago. What a water dog! We had her floating on one of our solid rafts with me about 15 feet away. She was whining for me so I said “Come on Paddy!” and she dove off, plunged head first into the water, surfaced and swam right to me like nothing even happened. The water is still pretty cold so she spent the rest of the day sleeping in the sun on the swim platform.
I am taking her to the vet tomorrow to get her first X-Ray. That will tell us the status of her leg and wether she will need a simple surgery or if we will have to get into more advance procedures.
As always… any donations to help this process are welcome!
She’s such a good little girl and deserves a happy life!

Paddle is still the runt, but she weighs over four pounds now!
She’s getting so big. She loves to be outside.
She’s going to go out for her first kayak trip tomorrow. She’ll love it!
Paddy is solid food now! She’s growing up!
Paddle & Harley are best friends.
They are the two smallest puppies, so they sick together in order to be noticed.
Unfortunately, their brothers and sisters are getting so big, they can’t keep up. Harley has an advantage because she has four working legs. She is stronger than Paddy is. Pad’s is trying to get to food, but her siblings (especially Avy) are making it hard for her.
We just brought Abby upstairs by herself so she can nurse Paddle alone.
Abby is getting torn up by the puppies nails though so she is being hell. She just doesn’t want to nurse anymore.
Jeff is currently holding Abby down, which is allowing Paddle to get some food. We’re probably going to have to supplement Paddle since Abby is not cooperating.
Strike that- we are on our way to Pet Supplies Plus as I type.
Bag balm & puppy formula.
Do you have a heart? Do you have $1? Do you have three spare minutes in your day?
Then help this little puppy.
